FUTURE School/Connection from Conception

nMy passion lies in making this world a better place by ensuring that the future generation has the tools to be independent, healthy, self-confident, loving and responsible adults. Developing a positive self-image is vital to the well-rounded growth of kids. One of my goals is to open a nursery school/center that will provide all encompassing learning through large/small group based learning centers and developmentally appropriate activities that center on the child. It will utilize creativity as a focal point for learning through different activities such as art, similar to the Waldorf regiment. We love, respect, and encourage our children to be all they can be – recognizing uniqueness in each child and allowing for individually paced learning. A lower teacher-child ratio would allow the preschool to support these children in their growth.

nThis institution’s core belief is love and empowering each child as well as every individual that comes into contact with the child, be it a teacher or a cook. It encompasses caring, developing a strong sense of self-image and self-confidence in our children and being conscious of each individual’s development ability. This methodology will encourage them to better understand their emotions as well as express themselves in an appropriate manner throughout their life. Proper exposure to diversity and an emphasis on unity, including acceptance of differences, will foster a strong sense of community.

nMost preschools and day cares are frustrated by the lack of parental involvement, which is an essential component for development of the child. Hence, this institution will also focus on fostering a strong parent-teacher-child relationship. One way would be through teaching the Conscious Parenting course, which combines law of attraction - awareness and Dr. Dreikur’s Systematic Training for Effective Parenting, to all teachers and parents. It educates parents about perspective; win-win negotiation, healthy communication, creating a nurturing environment and much more. Our Magical Moments, for parents & children, furthers your connection with your child and provides you with tools on how to intuitively understand where your child is coming from.

Conscious Parenting seeks to lead and accelerate enlightened and empowering change in the world by recreating the worldview beliefs about parenting. This class provides the framework and process for parenting so that we learn to relate with children in a way that supports their development, creating adults who feel whole and free and able to experience closeness and intimacy with others. Its goal is for the child to assume responsibility for her/his actions and to become motivated from within rather than by external circumstances or events. In addition, Barbra specializes in adding to the course her perspective, and understanding of the Indigo Child. Barbra trains those interested in becoming CP trainers across the country. nBy having parents and teachers incorporating the same philosophy and approach to raising children, this institution will provide a consistent message to children. Children deserve to excel in all facets of life and through my preschool every child will have this opportunity! They will, in other words, truly be able to apply their knowledge to life, and not just to make a living.

nConnection from Conception, which focuses on how we are connected on soo many levels. It will integrate music to support this process of connecting with ourselves as well as our soon to be child – and eventually everyone! Each and every one of us is connected on a higher level. We can take this concept to a deeper level and say, from the
moment of conception; both mom and dad are connected to their child. Their child feels them - on every level, mind, body, spirit.

nOur words, thoughts and actions have energy - and this affects your child.
It is important for us to nurture and honor the bond we have with our child.
To embrace this and be in awareness of the energy that we are sending as well as receiving with our child is very important. As you smile, your child can feel that. Living in the moment brings this awareness to a new level.

nOur feelings shape what we believe and think. When you go back in time and remember the first time you read a book in school - how did you feel, was it easy? People who say they had a pleasant memory generally like to read and they enjoy reading out loud in front of others. However, those who had an unpleasant feeling, they don't like reading out loud in front of others 20
years later.

nOne of the quickest to change our energy/vibration is through music as it is based on vibrations. This is something that needs to be incorporated
in helping parents work through their own emotions as well as connecting parents and children, and for the child as well.

nChildren are complete when they come here on this earth, they should be
nurtured in that way - as powerful, capable, knowledgeable humans. Believe
in the child - and watch the miracles happen. Treat them with respect and
love. This is a paradigm shift we need to create so that each child can
obtain his/her own dream. This will create a sense of oneness and a
positive, strong self-image! Also, we will work with infants through touch, music, massage, etc.

nSince we are connected from conception, imagine the prime opportunity each family has with their child in the first months of their lives, for now they
are learning to relate to people on a whole new level....we can BE the
difference for them!
